When I get a new game, I start a new game in each difficulty and save each before doing anything else.
What upcoming games are you looking forward to?
I'm looking forward to buying Fallout 3. I want to combine a woodchiper, leafblower, and teddybear ammo to kill things.

As for hosting it on RMN it seems great to me that you can host your games on here with no worries, but it also seems a good idea not to clog up the games page with a bunch of three hour games.
